Saspi’s expansion and our trajectory

 

Talleres Saspi S.A. is a company founded in 1961 in Azkoitia by seven partners. The name Saspi derives from "zazpi" (seven in Basque).

It is a company that from its beginning was clear that the local and national market was not its objective. The true sales potential of its machines was abroad. Although it was a humble company, it was a pioneer in machine exports abroad.

In 1986, the company changed management, which further increased exports and increased the product range, thus meeting the needs of all types of screw manufacturers. With the new support, the company was once again among the market leaders. Saspi has machines spread all over the world.

In recent years, and to overcome the introduction of new industries in the market, Saspi decided to increase the quality and technology of the machines to excel in the market and in the most elite specialized industries, such as automotive and aerospace. These industries are very strong and powerful industries where the quality of the parts matters more than the price.

After more than 60 years of experience, Saspi is today a benchmark in the sector with more than 300 customers, is present in 40 different countries, has a team of 25 employees and has sold more than 1300 machines. It also has international showrooms and a pavilion of 2041 square metres.
